Matt Cain Has the Gall to Allow One Earned Run, Giants Lose 2-1

SAN FRANCISCO, CA - AUGUST 06: Matt Cain #18 of the San Francisco Giants looks on after allowing two runs in the first inning against the Philadelphia Phillies at AT&T Park on August 6, 2011 in San Francisco, California.
Doesn't know how to win.

The Giants get more hits than the Phillies and can only score one single measly, lousy, piddling run. They're just the absolute worst and they're never going to snap this slump. I can't imagine this team beginning to play anything even remotely resembling "good baseball," even heading out to take on the Double-A Houston Astros soon. They don't deserve to make the playoffs unless they turn this ship around post haste.

Getting pretty sick of this team, and so are the fans at AT&T. So much sparkling pitching going to waste on a daily basis. So much ineptitude on the field and in the front office. The defending World Champions are looking much more like the defending Butt Champions by the day.

sfgiants - "upgrade" offense Play worst baseball of the season
