on some summer night in 1999 The Mariners, a team that a decade later would go on to have a "Cheezburger Night" complete with a lolcat bobblehead decided they should make everyone dress up like it was 2027, somehow it was considered a success and many teams would go on to do it. since I dont care about your team I didnt bother to find their futuristic jersey but here is a website with a good selection of them!

ReplyDeleteAlso apparently in the future baseball players have no time for such antiquated things as sleeves. I assume this has something to do with their need to fight killer cyborgs and roving biker gangs for precious gasoline between games in a doubleheader.
