Orioles 13, Blue Jays 3: They Fooled Me (They Fooled Me [They Fooled Me])

let's go

I will admit to having thought, following Brandon Valenzuela's two-run homer to right-centre in the fifth, that we might be able to make the 3-1 lead hold up. Oops! Guess not! I did not expect Trey Yesavage to get dinged for five in the sixth, that's for darn sure, and actually, while that inning was unfolding, I figured he'd probably be out of the game after those first two runs. Ope! Nope! Wrong again! Shows what I know! By the end of it, we had back-up catcher Tyler Heineman on the bump to get the final out in the top of the ninth (and with that clean third-of-an-inning, he lowers his ERA to 13.50 on the season [which is actually excellent from an "I'm not even supposed to be here today" perspective]). Not a great way to open what feels like a pretty significant (in the baseball sense) nine-game homestand! But what can you do.
